The annual cost for a new Scout is approximately $215.45. A break-down of costs is as follows:

  • Approximately $123 to the National BSA organization when you submit your one-time application ($98 registration fee for 12 months, and a first time registration fee of $25)
  • $92.45 to Pack 10 (with a $25 discount for siblings) After your first year, Pack 10 will collect all dues.

To become a new Scout, follow these steps:

  1. Apply with BSA: Go to, click ‘cub scouts’, put your zip code in, and apply for pack 10. Then pay approximately $92.55, including an optional subscription to Boys Life Magazine ($15.00).
  2. Pay for Pack 10 new scout registration fees here. Siblings receive a $25 discount. A Pack 10 t-shirt is included with all new Scouts.
